The Foundation for Liver Research funds and manages the work of research staff and students in partnership with King’s College London and King’s College Hospital at the Roger Williams Institute of Liver Studies.

90% of liver disease is preventable, yet it is expected to overtake heart disease as the biggest cause of premature death in the UK. Three quarters of patients are diagnosed at a late stage with very limited options for treatment or intervention.
